Press Announcement from Electrocompaniet A Milestone for the Norwegian Hi-Fi Industry:Electrocompaniet acquires Dynamic Precision !
From May 1. 2007 Electrocompaniet acquires the renowned Norwegian company Dynamic Precision, including all rights, patents and employees. We now merge the best from Dynamic Precision and Electrocompaniet in product development, design and manufacturing. We will exploit our shared technological competence and brand names in the market.
Background Over the last months Dynamic Precision has been in dialogue with Electrocompaniet to obtain the technological and market competence of Electrocompaniet. The agreement has now been finalized and we look forward to continue product development and marketing in a joint company. Electrocompaniet was re-established in 2005 with new owners. The ambition of the merged company is to further develop and strengthen its position as a central player in the international market for high quality sound reproduction.
Further development of Dynamic Precision Dynamic Precision products will be an independent product line at Electrocompaniet as new products continues to be introduced. Dynamic Precision’s will be continuously developed further. This is a guarantee that old and new Dynamic Precision customers will be serviced. The original team of designers will continue as head of development for future Dynamic Precision-products.
Expanded product range and unique Norwegian technology For Electrocompaniet it is of central importance to expand our product range and competence. The acquisition of Dynamic Precision provides us with the opportunity to reach new customer groups. We can assure our faithful listeners that the companies will continue with their unique and renowned sound signatures.
