The performance of the EMP-1 is outstanding, its new design achieves high playability & disc acceptance. The mechanism is very smooth with improved disc access times. The OSD menu has also been enhanced.

The Fardoudja DCDi technology produces an outstanding progressive-scan video picture, including a scaler and de-interlacer : you can select 480p, 576p, 720p and 1080i through the HDMI output.
